Mark: You sound wonderful and we are so proud of you. I think having this kind of experience is wonderful for you—not to mention all those wonderful people you will touch with your message. Love your letters! Mary and Ted
Querido HermanoFrye,
Como estas? Tienes aqua limpia? Como es la comida? Te gusta tu companero?
Hi Elder Frye, we miss your smiling face. How is the weather over there, are there tons of mosquitos? That is so great that you are able to teach and baptize so many people. How old is this young boy that is staying with you? Elder Matthew Frye is not having as much success as you, he says the Irish are hard hearted, but he tries everyday to find people. It’s a constant drizzle and at times the coldness goes deep down to your bones. He had to buy a new suit over there because the ones he took were too light. The store clerk kept laughing at him though because in Ireland pants mean underwear and Matthew kept referring to his pants instead of trousers. He is starting to catch on to the lingo though, in his email he said he put some letters in the post, that is very British. He misses his sobes and American choclates, wants us to send him some. I’m not sure if you will recieve this, so I’ll stop typing incase you don’t, let me know if you get it. Pray often and share that special spirit with others, the Lord will bless your efforts and you will witness many amazing things as you serve diligently.
We love you, Tia Ellie
Hey mark,
How is your mission going? Life in Napa is going good. I am working at the Silverado Spa and the Royal Oak. I am saving money to get back to school, and when I go back in the winter I will be rooming with Kemper and Shaw so that should be a lot of fun. I was at your house and I saw your snowboard. If there is any way that I could buy it I could really use it because I am teaching Janice this winter and I told her that I would find her gear. So if I bought your board she could ride my board. Let me know how the mission is going because all I hear is stuff from John. Well let me know about your mission and about the board or let John know. Love you cuz have a wonderful day.
Elder Frye!
You sound like you are doing amazing and that you are enjoying yourself. Just wanted to say hello and keep it up!
Dear Elder Frye,
It is great to hear about what you are doing on your mission. Your family (and I) are very proud of you and the work you are doing.
We are ajusting to our new home in Colorado, Marc and Brian will graduate in May…then off to Collage. They love having release time semenary this year.
Keep up the good work, we will keep you in our paryers.
I talk to your dad often, he always tells me about you and what you are up to.

Steve Kendrick
Elder Frye,
We now have your e-mail and wanted to say hi and see how things are going? How has your mission thus far? We hope things are as you expect and as you wanted.
We are very thankful that we got to spend some time with you before you left on your mission. We know you will do great and you will have much success!
Things are going great here in White-a-ho! Our business is taking off and we are doing quite a bit of catering. It is however, messing with my golf game! Rosanne has been great and really building our business. Mackenzie is finishing up her junior year and has been getting ready for the “luau season” by practicing her hula. Has already been in 3 fender benders! Christian is doing great as well. Idaho Falls has 50,000 people and he has only hugged about 10,000 so far. He probably would have more under his belt if we let him out of the house more!
Now that we know how to get in touch we will send off more e-mails. We would like to stay in touch.
We know you have been chosen for this special mission at this special time in your life. We know that as his chosen son you have many great and wonderful people for you to touch and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is my testimony that God does live and that whether we are on our own mission or not there is and will always be a missionary experience if we but look. You have the priesthood and you are ordained to serve in a rightous manner. Enjoy your time and experiences, and my the Lord bless you, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
P.S., Christian found out i’m writing to you so he says “I love Mark the galaxy!”

Elder Frye,
I have loved reading your emails every week. You are loving your misision and the people and that’s what it is all about.
They know if you love them or are a lazy missionary just going through the motions.
I got released about 6 weeks ago as the Bishop of the YSA ward and I miss it. However, I love being back in N3 and the energy of the family ward. I missed the children and the adults.
I was called to team teach with your mom in the Gostpel Doctrine class. She is an awesome teacher. She is thoroughly prepared and makes me feel inadequate. I love your family too.
Your Dad is a special guy as you know. He is a wonderful member of the SP. He makes everyone feel welcomed.
Keep working hard. The time will go by quickly.
You will be home before you know it.
My son Ryan served in Florida and converted to FT Spanish the last year of his mission. He told me something that I have passed on to every missionary that I meet. “serve as hard as you can so that when you get released that you have ‘no regrets’. There is nothing you could have done better.” I know you are doing just that “no regrets.”
Love you Elder Frye. Keep writing these great letters.
Sister Mills and I love hear the news.
